Chancellor, University of Zambia 1966-present;
Chairman, Mining and Industrial Development Corporation of Zambia 1970-present; Chairman, Organization of African Unity (OAU) 1970-1971; 1987-1988; Chairman, Non-Aligned Nations Movement 1970-1973; President, Institute for Peace and Democracy (The Kaunda Foundation) 1991-present.
